Bear
Director of Operations | Head Coach
Bear has been involved in shooting sports since his time in high school in Missouri. Bear attended the University of Kentucky and has since spent his career at Amazon for the last 7 years as a Program Manager for Amazon Fresh Business Intelligence, NY State Quality Manager for Amazon Logistics, and other roles.
Bear spent the 2022-2023 season as a coach for Springfield High School (OH) JROTC's rifle program. Due to a lack of other programs in the area, he saw the need for a more focused athletic, civilian-focused option available to students and young people without access to the sport through their school. With that realization, SBMO was born in 2023 focusing first on the Dayton market with the grand vision to expand outwards.
Matt
Community Outreach | Assistant Coach
Matt is from Springfield, OH and graduated from Shawnee HS. After continuing his studies at Otterbein University, he graduated in 2022 with a Bachelors of Arts in Sports
Management. Since his graduation he has spent his time as a Terminal Supervisor for
Central Transport in Dayton, OH.
Before his first semester in college, he enlisted in the United States Army Reserve and
is still currently drilling today. This passion has led him here where he saw the
opportunity to help students reach their full potential in sport and to teach and focus on
firearm safety for the younger generations.
Luke
